PROJECTS
Verizon Wireless Corporate Office (Franklin TN)
C&T was retained by Verizon Wireless to inspect and test the placement of pervious concrete pavement for their parking lot. The original asphalt parking lot did not permit positive drainage causing flooding issues. The property is landlocked and constructing a retention pond was not an option. Supporting green sustainable growth Verizon chose pervious concrete that captured the storm water allowing it to seep into the ground recharging the groundwater and reducing stormwater runoff eliminating flooding concerns. C&T inspected the removal of the asphalt parking lot, subgrade preparation, pervious concrete placement and final acceptance infiltration testing.

Final remediation filling the curtained area of the sinkhole with rip-rap aggregate. MSE wall leveling pads, panel placement, reinforcement and select backfill were inspected for conformity with the approved shop drawings.
